Julia CP #5

Eunkyung Koo and Esraa are planning to learn how to swim together. I brought the spring and summer schedule for them for the City of Tallahassee pools (FSU only offers swim lessons again in the fall), and they both were excited about it.

Eunkyung is enjoying her break, while Esraa misses her English classes. However, she has taken advantage of having some time off: with a friend of hers she went to Walmart and bought a TV. Her buying of this TV was, kind of, a panic reaction, that is, she did not really take her time to shop around. She simply knew that she wanted and needed a TV to watch a lot of American programs and thus practice English. Anyway, for a while she was talking about how she wanted to get rid of this “new” TV and buy another one. She asked both of us for advice, and we both took it seriously. Koo’s idea was to put it on craigslist, I said she should take a picture and create a flyer that she could distribute on campus or put up at CIES, that she could ask the receptionist if this was fine. When Esraa asked if she should bring the TV, etc. and started to laugh, Koo and I knew she was pulling our leg. Esraa confirmed. The three of us were laughing so hard. What a great sense of humor. It’ll be the three of us again next week. This was fun!!
