KyungAh TP#9

I met with my CIES tutee on 3/19 at the Atomic Coffee on Call Street in the afternoon. I was on my "spring break" (Leon County schedule) and so, I was readily available to hang out with him in the afternoon. Since the last post, he and I had agreed that we would keep things conversational because he felt he did not need any "tutoring" on his English grammar (in which case, I thought that was what he wanted). Nonetheless, it is always fun talking to him even for an hour. I asked him what his plans are for the upcoming CIES spring break and he told me that he had plans to go to Orlando with a few of his buddies. I asked him what he planned on doing in Orlando and he said to go visit Disney World. I laughed at that because I feel everybody does go to Orlando (who are visiting Florida that is) has to see Disney and, frankly, I do understand. I told him that there are outlet malls in Orlando if he enjoyed shopping. Every single time I meet up with him, he seems to have a new outfit on or something new (accessories, shoes, etc.). He said he does enjoy shopping, but he likes brand names. So, I told him that the Orlando outlet malls do have a lot of expensive designer brands. After we talked about his plans, he said he had to go because his friends needed him to pick him up at school and so, I told him to have a great spring break and that I'd contact him later on.
