KyungAh CP#2

I met with my conversation partner yesterday after I met with my tutee. On average, Korean people love to eat food and enjoy eating food. Even in Korea, there are shows dedicated on just food; not like cooking channels, but it's called "mok-bang" (eating room) and it's literally where people just eat food, but eating it so deliciously. So, since my conversation partner is Korean we decided to eat dinner together! I picked her up since she lives on very close to me and we are going to go around Tallahassee to try different places and places that she has not gone to. She said she likes all kinds of foods, but she does love meat. So, I figured she needs to try the local burger place Monks since it's a Tallahassee original. However, I totally missed that yesterday was St. Patrick's Day so it was super crowded. It was way to crowded that we went, but couldn't even find parking. I told her that it probably is best to just go away from campus since around/near campus, too many students will be out. So, we decided to go to Paisley Cafe, which is very far out in Tallahassee. It's a nice sandwich place and has good brunch food, but it was still good for dinner. She really enjoyed it and since she doesn't have a car there would be no way for her to go to places like that. As we ate, we just talked about how her week has been and what she did on the weekend. She said she is excited for her Spring Break and she is going to Orlando to go shopping at the Outlet Malls. Once again, Korean women love to shop at outlets haha.
