TP #7

I met with Koo at Starbucks on Tennessee. Driving over, I realized I really look forward to tutoring her because she's so motivated and funny. I'm really glad we were matched up. Whenever I explain something and it doesn't make sense, she asks me for a more detailed answer, which we work towards together. I believe that most of the gains I've made as a teacher have come from my experiences with her as a fully-engaged tutee.

As she said she would, Koo brought in a transcript of the speech she would be giving for her presentation on American Business Culture. Koo is a talented speechwriter, and her grammatical errors were numerous but patterned, so we only needed to go over an item or two.
