For this tutoring session with
Daeyoung, we continued to work on an assignment that we had also worked on the
previous week. The assignment involved
creating a survey with different types of questions such as “what do you think
of president Obama” and “what is the best advice you can give to a CIES student
trying to make American friends?” Daeyoung was lamenting the fact that she got
paired up with a lazy student who was basically making Daeyoung do all of the
work and not bringing too much to the table. After coming up with questions,
Daeyoung had to go up to FSU students and ask them for their input. Daeyoung
was intimidated by this idea, which is understandable, so she brought along one
of her more outgoing friends to help her with the assignment. Since CIES will be on break soon, Daeyoung
has been planning an adventure for herself, so she will be taking a solo trip
to Chicago once they are out of session.
