Eunkyung Koo and I met for the second time today, at the same
time and the same place, a Starbucks. She likes Starbucks, and I said she
should get a Starbucks card, if she goes there often. With my golden card I got
a beverage for free today, which I had not expected, and she could tell, that
it had been a surprise for me J
We talked about American movies today. Eunkyung asked me what kind of movies I
liked, and among other things I mentioned the Coen Brothers. If she liked
George Clooney - and who doesn’t ;-) I would recommend “O Brother Where Art
Thou”, although there is a lot of slang in the movie. Another movie by the same
directors, if a little creepy, is “Fargo” and takes place in a very different
area (North Dakota and Minnesota), time and culture. We talked about actors
that have been around for a long time: Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman (Eunkyung has
just recently watched “Rain Man” again), Johnny Depp, Keano Reeves, etc.
