CP#2

My second conversation partner is Ahmed. Ahmed is also from Kuwait. Ahmed has been in the US for 6 months and is currently in level 1 and 2 at CIES. Ahmed and I met at Starbucks on Tennessee around 4pm. We exchanged pleasantry and then we talked about his culture. I asked lot about what he did in Kuwait before coming to cies. Ahmed is in business in the Oil industry and wants to go to Bussiness school here. He thinks learning English is a great and necessary skill. He told me a couple funny stories and he was very good at conveying the message of the joke even with little English. We talked about some of his family traditions. He told me a funny story, about his uncle who named his son George Bush. Because he was very thankful to him during the Gulf War.
