today was the second meeting between Mahsa and I. It wasnt in the least bit awkward meeting up with her as it was the first time. we were both more relaxed and it seemed that i knew her better.
we had a simple conversation about her life in Iran and her previous education. she told me about her degree in architectural design and i instantly became engaged in her life. from her appearances she looked like she was 25 at the most, turns out shes 30 years old. she thought i was her age.
she asked me how long i was in tallahassee and if i knew of any apartments for rent. i offered my help and have sent her a couple of listings based on the information she gave me.
after our second meeting i was better able to understand her english and help her in her common errors without being too critical just helpful.
She is a great young lady and i hope to keep meeting up with her. her culture is fascinating and i hope to learn more about her.

It is great to see this cultural exchange. Americans have a lot to learn about Iran and Iranians.
