Isaac TP 7

Today I got to meet with Ali. We met outside of the library and went over some worksheets I brought. The first worksheet we did was opposites. I noticed in our earlier lessons that Ali, although very ambitious and smart, lacked the vocabulary necessary to articulate his thoughts. The opposites worksheet gave Ali a good amount of new vocabulary words to practice. There were some words that can be used as different types of speech like kind and mean. When reading over mean he referenced the phrase "What do you mean?" and kind as "What kind of drink?" I found that explaining these differences was not difficult, but having him be able to recognize the difference in context will be the important part. The next worksheet we did was a describing exercise. Ali was instructed to write one sentence describing each of the characters displayed on the sheet.  He did this exercise with ease, conceptually. His spelling still needs to improve, although he is showing improvement in preposition use.
