Kelly TP #9
In my last session with Ahlam, we worked quite a
lot on modal verbs (can, should, could, may, might, will, must, shall). She had
a worksheet where she had to fill in the blank with the correct modal verb,
which we went through. After that, I had
Ahlam come up with example sentences for each word. Now that I have gotten to know Ahlam a little
bit better, I have found it easier to come up with example sentences that will
make more sense to her. For example, one of her favorite things to do is cook,
so often times I will use sentences revolving around cooking in order for her
ot understand it better. Another thing we worked on during this session is when
to use in, during, and on. She was
confused as to why we say “on spring break” but then use “during spring” so I did
a few examples using months, seasons, and specific dates in order to help
clarify it for her
