Katelyn CO #3
I observed Ms. Ramos composition class last Monday morning. She started her class with a greeting to her students asking how their spring break was. After the greeting, Mr. Ramos told her class that the would be doing a free-writing exercise in the form of a journal entry. She wrote the prompt on the board then gave the class 30 minutes to journal about their spring break and the differences between the break in America and their breaks back home. The teacher made herself available for grammar questions and was very patient with her class. After their writing exercise, Ms. Ramos asked the class what grammar points they would like to focus on for their next class. She explained to the students the reason for the 30 minute time limit - because the writing portion of the CIES final is 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes Ms. Ramos asked students to read their entry aloud. After they finished, she went over any large grammatical mistakes they had made.

Great! I think you've learned how to provide feedback in writing class from Ms. Ramos. :)
