Sarah CP #6
This afternoon I took Ali out for some fro-yo at Yogurt Mountain, and we let Matt tag along. We got plenty of sample cups and I helped Ali pick a flavor. This was his first time trying frozen yogurt, and his first time at a self serve eatery. After trying some of the more unusual flavors, he settled on something safe--strawberry, with strawberries on top. We sat outside with our fro-yo since it was so nice and sunny today, and Ali admitted this was the first time he'd been outside all weekend. After comparing the summer weather in Florida and in Oman (and doing some conversions to/from Celsius) we talked about everything from laxatives to the Department of the Treasury. Matt mentioned that we had a soccer game later, and Ali was surprised that I play on a "boy's team." Matt and I told him about the FSU women's soccer team, and tried to explain the difference between soccer and American football, and Ali told us about blind tennis. In tennis for the blind, the ball has a rattle inside of it so that the players can hear the ball. It's really pretty amazing. The three of us made plans to go out for dinner on Friday, since we found that we all share a love for Indian food.
